Over the last few years, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Courts have emerged as the leading offshore common law courts of the Middle East region. Both the DIFC and the ADGM legal systems offer a welcome alternative to international businesses based in or wanting to do business in the UAE. The DIFC and the ADGM Courts operate in English and closely follow the English common law system compared to the onshore civil law system which mostly operates in Arabic.

- Drafted extensive pleadings and represented a Design and Architecture company in front of the DIFC Court in a construction dispute worth AED 750,000.
- Successfully advised and reviewed pleadings in an action for resisting an application for setting aside an arbitral award, worth $ 12 million, in front of the DIFC Court.
- Advised on and reviewed pleadings filed in the High Court of England and Wales in a claim for damages arising out of large oil spills in Africa, settled for £55 million.
- Researched for and reviewed pleadings in five cases held in front of Justices of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in the course of Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC) proceedings.
- Managed and produced progress reports for approximately 100 cases for a large Saudi Arabian governmental entity and its subsidiaries each month.
