Representative Experience
- Advised an international real estate company on the acquisition of a project in development worth AED 185 million, involving financing, escrow accounts, negotiations with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (“RERA”) and on the merits of initiating arbitration proceedings against the main contractor working on the project.
- Advised a Sub-Contractor on the interpretation of legal provisions of a construction contract based on the FIDIC Red Book, notices issued and correspondences relating to an Extension of Time claim worth $5 million.
- Advised a Saudi Arabian Municipality on the creation of a public-private partnership agreement with a privately held construction company for the execution of construction projects.
- Drafted a subcontract agreement for the international supply of specialist services by a UK entity to a large Saudi Arabian construction company worth SAR 11 million.
- Advised and prepared relevant documentation such as presentations for the Board of Directors, notice letters and legal opinions for a Main Contractor throughout the construction of a residential and commercial complex worth $150 million, in Qatar.
